IC 2026 delegates have an incredible opportunity to explore some of the unique local sights and activities Philadelphia has to offer. Whether you love beautiful historic landmarks, unique cultural experiences, fun foodie tours, or adventurous outdoor activities, there’s something for everyone.
Below is a list of Sunday sightseeing and activity options being offered to delegates at IC. The options are listed in alphabetical order. Please carefully review the information in each option, including the description, drive time, dietary restrictions, and any special requirements. Teens will not be assigned to a track that is incompatible with the dietary restrictions in their registration. Unless otherwise specified in the activity description, lunch during sightseeing will include options for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free meals. Please be aware that cross contamination may occur during preparation.
Please note that some sightseeing choices include an additional fee and this is indicated in each listing. If you are receiving any need-based scholarship from BBYO to attend IC, you may not select a sightseeing track that has an additional fee. If you receive a scholarship award after sightseeing assignments have been made, the IC team will change your track to one that does not have an additional fee based on your rankings and track availability.
Delegates will be asked to select their top 10 choices for their Sunday sightseeing activity at the time of registration. These choices may be edited after registration is complete until December 5. At that time, our team will be doing assignments, and we will try our best to give each delegate one of their top ten choices, based on availability. Please note that all activities are subject to change; any changes will be communicated to families by BBYO.
Dive into a day of teamwork and history as you make your own Great Escape! Experience Beat the Bomb, a high-energy team challenge where you’ll solve tech-driven games to defuse a paint bomb—part escape room, part video game, all fun. You'll also explore the haunting halls of Eastern State Penitentiary, one of America’s most historic prisons. Walk through crumbling cellblocks, hear stories of infamous inmates who attempted their own escape, and reflect on powerful exhibits about justice and reform.

Experience a day of art and performance in the heart of Philadelphia, blending visual elegance with musical magic. You’ll see a live performance of the Broadway musical Beauty and the Beast—Disney’s first North American production of the beloved musical in over 25 years! Savor the flavors and sights of Philadelphia with a day that blends hands-on cooking with historic exploration. Under the guidance of a professional chef, you'll cook a delicious Italian meal from scratch and enjoy your freshly prepared lunch together. Afterwards, you'll enjoy a guided bus sightseeing tour of Philly that includes some of the city's most famous landmarks and Instagrammable sites.
Lunch: During the cooking class, teens will prepare a non-kosher chicken meal that is dairy-free. Teens with additional dietary restrictions or allergies may not participate in this activity. We are unable to accommodate special requests or modifications.

Highlights include a campus tour, a panel with current students involved with campus Hillel, and additional fun surprises that showcase Drexel's vibrant student life.

Fuel your passion for cars and competition with a day that blends virtual racing thrills and real-world automotive history! Get into the driver's seat at F1 Arcade, where you’ll experience the adrenaline of Formula 1 racing with state-of-the-art simulators. Then, shift gears and head to the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum, home to one of the world’s greatest collections of vintage racing sports cars.

Spend a joyful day at the farm filled with laughter, relaxation, and adorable animals! At BBYO's private Comedy Improv show, two teams of improvising comedians face off in hilarious head-to-head games, all made up on the spot based on your suggestions. You'll also enjoy racing with friends at a state-of-the-art indoor go-kart track to wrap up your day!

EXPERIENCED SKIERS & SNOWBOARDERS ONLY. Hit the slopes for a day of winter excitement at Spring Mountain, the closest snow destination to Philadelphia! Your lift ticket will give you access to all the runs for an awesome day packed with fresh air, adrenaline, and winter vibes. Participants must bring their own winter gear (e.g.: snowpants, coat, gloves); ski/snowboard gear will be provided.
