Growing up, we all watched the ‘family’ game shows, from Wheel of Fortune to Jeopardy. Staring at the big TV, I yearned to be a part of the competitive atmosphere that makes up Television Game Shows. Well, now that opportunity has come, not only for me, but for all of you. As BBYO’s International Convention (IC) approaches, I am thrilled to announce the Experience Admins' own version of a game show: IC 2026 Contests. 

What are the IC 2026 Contests?

IC 2026 Contests is an exciting way for your region to become involved with the IC magic while competing against other regions. Many of these traditions have grown and evolved over the past decades, and the Experience Admins are bringing them back! These various activities and competitions will start leading up to IC and will be totaled at the end of the convention. The region with the most points and ruach will receive the Max F. Baer Spirit Cup and Spirit Gavel at Closing Ceremonies!

How can I earn points?

There are two main ways to earn points: before and during convention. Starting now, your region can gain points by doing things such as completing delegate surveys and submitting shuk entries. Each action item is listed above with its specific point distribution. Once at IC, your region can then focus on earning points there. This includes doing things like having spirit or donating items to the IC Stand Up Drive. Again, all contests and point distributions can be found above or in the spirit guide.  

IC contests are more than a competition or even a televised game show—they’re a chance to show your region’s pride, creativity, and spirit, while being part of creating the unforgettable Jewish connection.
