When you Google “goosebumps,” the first thing that will appear on your screen is: "Travis Scott Goosebumps" or "Goosebumps film series.” However, that's not what I want to talk about. Goosebumps can also happen when you are overcome with emotion or extremely excited about something.
Have you ever felt goosebumps when you were with your friends, family, or maybe someone you love? At that moment, you're having a great time and stop for a second to look around. You have a feeling of abundant happiness and excitement and that's when you know you are in the right place.
Personally, I feel goosebumps all the time. One time, I was jumping with all my friends while listening to a song and the contentment of that precious moment made my eyes begin to water. I had goosebumps. I thought to myself, “I want to keep this moment alive in my memory,” as I looked around and noticed all my friends that were as happy as I was.
Maybe you are wondering what the purpose of this article is. Above all else, I just wanted to tell you that you should live your life as you want, talk to that person you like, go out, have fun, dance until your feet can't even touch the ground, and try to capture a mental picture of the moments you want to preserve. Life is short and not always happy, but in the darkest moments of it, those snapshots of more peaceful and jubilant times can be used to cheer you up and keep you grounded.
