As someone who makes music, I often find myself deeply connected with my inner self. As an Aleph, my morals reside in this connection, but also in helping others. Though it may seem far-fetched to some, I feel I can use music to heal. With antisemitism on the rise, I have complete faith that my community, along with everyone else’s, needs strong Jewish leaders. This leadership can come in many different forms, but the youth is undoubtedly the future. This is why having teenage Jewish artists, musicians, and performers, in general, is crucial. Creative expression flows through Judaism and should never be held back by the grasp of others. Though my music is not all related to my religion, I know that faith in yourself and your community can take many forms. Pursuing music is one of my greatest passions, and I will never forget or abandon my Jewish roots.
