February is the month of love—and boy, did I love February!!
Wow. Although it was extremely energy-consuming, it was more than anything the most rewarding month.
I kicked off February in LOR with a super fun weekend: Beau and Sweetheart, a BBG sleepover, and Tournies. I had so much fun and was able to hype up LOR for IC. From there, I headed to DC and met with the one and only AZA Godol. Together, Dan and I spent the final days before IC prepping—mentally and physically. This is where I found my love for CorePower. After powering out all my energy, Dan and I finalized everything we needed for IC, prepped International Elections, and made sure the next two weeks were set to run smoothly.
As I boarded my plane (btw, Dan decided to book a different flight), I realized I had been thinking about the next two weeks for months. All the excitement, all the reunions, all the hard work—it was finally happening, and I couldn’t wait for my plane to land. When I arrived in Denver, I reunited with Alex, the 7th International Gizborit, and of course, took her to CorePower with me.
And then—we jumped into GAW. From fun programming and touring the DU campus to partying the night away at a Denver nightclub, reuniting with the 180, showcasing the diversity of our Movement at the Around the World showcase, and spending a wonderful Shabbat with my South African besties, to the absolute best BBG-only Super Bowl, Global Ambassadors Week 2025 was truly one for the books. I loved everything.
My sadness leaving GAW to go to the IC hotel was quickly replaced with joy when I reunited with so many friends at IC Advanced Week. Witnessing how the hotel transformed into IC—with all its banners, photos, and glory—was surreal. I can’t even describe the excitement that filled me. The next day, I reunited with the NSQUAD as we kicked off the February Executives Conference. Dan and I ran a super successful Business Meeting. I was blown away by how smoothly everything went, how engaged the Executive Body was, and how much Parliamentary Procedure we were able to execute. LOVED IT.
The excitement didn’t stop there. Right before we officially kicked off the International Convention, we took the Executive Body to a sports center. We left the hotel nearly empty—and came back to a full IC. I had never seen so many familiar faces in one place before. I cannot explain the joy of reuniting with so many BBGs and Alephs I met on the road, with the teens from my CLTC, with faces I had only seen on Zoom—it embodied all the love I have for this Movement. And in that moment, the official celebration of Jewish joy kicked off.
Dan and I welcomed over 3,000 teens to Denver at Opening Ceremonies, ran over the stage, and partied hard to Andy Grammer. And to be completely honest, from that moment on, IC felt like one big happy blur. The endless hugs, conversations, programs, pictures, booths, goodies I collected, and yes, even some meltdowns in between—International Convention had everything, and I loved it all.
The blur ended with the heaviest tears as I said goodbye to so many of my friends—not knowing when I’ll see them again—and headed into travel, excited to reunite with some of them.
From the bottom of my heart, I want to express the deepest gratitude to every single teen and staff member who worked so hard alongside us, Merce, and Jake to bring this weekend to life.
I will never be able to fully put into words what it's like to be at IC, so I’ll leave it with this:
Live. Love. International Conventions.
