Celebrating Passover during difficult times, such as the ones we're facing now,  requires creativity, adaptability, and resilience.  Here are some ways we can celebrate Passover during challenging times:

Virtual Gatherings: Many are using video platforms to share this time together to celebrate. These virtual gatherings allow us to connect with one another and be comfortable safely from our own homes.

Small Family Celebrations: For those who are unable or don't want to gather virtually, Passover can still be observed with immediate family members. This can involve a special meal, discussions, and just enjoying time spent with one another.

Acts of Charity and Social Justice: Passover is a time to reflect. We can have compassion during this time and collect and donate items to those in need, especially those in communities that are struggling right now.

Symbolism: Every Passover has a profound meaning.  By accepting the symbolic meaning of Passover rituals and traditions, such as the foods on the Seder plate, the recounting of the Exodus tale, and the emphasis on freedom, families can find inspiration even in trying times.

The main goals of commemorating Passover in these trying times are to find resilience, meaning, and connection when facing hardship. It's a chance to see optimism while finding strength in our community, and faith.
