Being elected to serve as North Florida Region’s 22nd Regional S’gan has truly been one of the most meaningful and impactful experiences of my time in BBYO so far. It’s not just a title, it’s an opportunity to make a real difference in a community that has given me so much. The ability to step up and lead my region on this level has been incredibly special and something I take great pride in every single day.

North Florida may not be the largest region, but what makes it so powerful is the passion, energy, and sense of family that runs through the entire region.  From the moment I began this journey, my goal has been to strengthen that connection and make every teen in NFR feel included, empowered, and inspired to take their own leadership to the next level. With the help of a strong, dedicated regional board, we’ve been able to do exactly that. In just the first few months of our term, we’ve reached almost 95% of our membership goal, exceeded our Falcon convention attendance, hit our International Convention delegation goal, and gone beyond expectations for our Regional Kickoff event. Each of these accomplishments represents the effort, collaboration, and spirit that make North Florida so unique.

What excites me most about serving as S’gan during the region’s 22nd year is the opportunity to build on our history and celebrate how far we’ve come. I'm honored to carry that legacy forward and to continue growing the movement for the next generation. Watching my board step up and take pride in their positions has been one of the most amazing parts of this year. I have already loved working with my counterparts to ensure our region is successful to the fullest.

Serving as the 22nd Regional S’gan isn’t just about making this year successful; it’s about leaving a mark that lasts beyond it, so that I can keep our region welcoming for every teen within it. It’s about ensuring that every teen in North Florida feels the same sense of pride, excitement, and love for BBYO that I do. As we move forward into this milestone year, I’m more motivated than ever to keep pushing our region higher, stronger, and closer together.
