Every year at International Convention, we come together to hold one of the most meaningful moments in BBYO: the elections of the Grand and International Boards. A moment where we, as a movement, decide who we are and where we are going. Through these elections, we choose 12 representatives of BBYO. But what does it truly mean to represent this Movement? It means choosing people who exemplify the very best BBYO has to offer. People who understand that leadership is not about a title or a position, but about service, responsibility, and impact. We are electing individuals who will amplify the voices of more than 70,000 Jewish teens around the world, teens with diverse Jewish identities, lived experiences, cultures, languages, and geographic realities.

We elect people who will care, who do not do it for a title but for the impact they can leave on the jewish world. By electing we are deciding on the future that we want to build as a movement. A direction we want to go towards. We elect people with vision, people who don’t just imagine a better future for BBYO, but who have the courage and commitment to guide the movement toward it.

You were chosen by your peers to be in that room. To represent them. To represent your region. To represent the leadership and legacy of AZA and BBG. That is not a small responsibility. It requires you to show up, not only for yourself, but for those who trust you to carry their voices.

Vote consciously.

Vote thoughtfully.

Vote with intention.

After listening to each candidate, trust your gut and vote for the future you believe in.

I also want to take a moment to express gratitude. Thank you for choosing to be in that room. Thank you for showing up for the future of the movement. Thank you for supporting what you believe is best not just for today, but for the years to come. Thank you for representing your regions with pride, for caring about the people standing on that stage and carrying about giving those teens that haven't even joined yet the best of AZA and BBG. Thank you for showing up as leaders of Jewish youth, leaders who know how to balance fun with responsibility, passion with purpose, and tradition with progress. This is leadership. This is BBYO. And this moment matters.

Let’s get ready to elect the  102nd Grand Board of the Aleph Zadik Aleph and the 82nd International Board of the B’nai B’rith Girls!
