Confidence is everything, if you walk in looking nervous and present yourself as nervous, no one will take you seriously for the job.
There really is no point in worrying about who you are running against because that shouldn’t affect your preparation for this election. You should be doing your ultimate best no matter who your opponents are.
When you think about it, winning every single election is unrealistic. You should have a passion for any position you run for and it’s ok to be upset about a loss, but losing is not the end of the world.
This organization and movement are about so much more than the title you can hold. You are given the opportunity to make an impact no matter your position.
It’s simple, you politicking shows that you don’t think you are the best for the job. If you can’t follow the rules during the preparation, how are you going to post-election?
If you don’t have a purpose for running, why would you put in all the work? Stay true to yourself and your purpose throughout the entire process.
