It’s now February, which means the best weekend of the year is approaching. As our Movement prepares to gather for President's Day weekend, it is time for us to get ready to pack for IC. If you are a little lost and want inspiration, here are some tips and tricks to make your packing experience easier and the smoothest it can be.

When to Pack

I would recommend having all clothing packed two days before you need to leave, and an inventory of your toiletries done too.  This will allow you to make any quick runs you need to without being completely stressed out the night before. Also, make a list of things that you need to throw into your bag in the morning so you don’t forget.

(Bonus Tip- Add what you need to throw in your bag as text on your alarm that morning so you don’t forget)

What to Pack

This can vary depending on the person and the exact activities you will be doing at IC. Remember to check the spirit guide here for themes and check what your Lead and Sightseeing track for more information on what is needed for them. Also, check the weather forecast in Philly because it can change leading up to IC, and the page for other clothing questions.

Now, here is a suggested packing list that can be modified as needed.

-4 everyday bottoms

-4 every day tops

-Concert Outfit (With clear bag!!!)

-Open Ceremony Outfit

-Shabbat Outfit

-BBYO Swag

-Comfy shoes

-Layers

-Money/ Card/ Travel Documents

-A bag to bring with you to different places

-Chargers (Especially a portable one)

-Medication

-Tolietries

Remember to have extra space in your bag for any shuk or other things you get too!
