International Convention is the biggest gathering of Jewish teens in the world, so it makes sense that it’s so crazy. Every which way, there is something, whether it be a program or a booth or even just a group of friends; there is always a thing to be done.
But, amidst all the chaos, every one of the 3,200+ Jewish teens is here for their small moments. Whether it be one joke, one laugh, or one smile, these small moments make IC so special.
It can feel like you constantly have to be going to every single program, saying hi to every single friend, and doing every single thing possible. It can be hard to “stop and smell the roses,” but it is worth it.
So, take in that small moment. Whether getting an extra snack with a lifelong friend, hanging out in a hammock with someone from your summer program, or bonding with someone you’ve never met, IC is the chance to meet people you’ve never met and have experiences like never before.
So, take in that small moment, share that small smile, and try your best to have fun every minute!
