With the holiday of Passover comes plenty of AMAZING foods and some that are only slightly questionable. So here is my top 5 list of Passover foods:
5. Coconut Macaroons
In my personal opinion these are pretty good (especially with chocolate or caramel drizzle on them). However if you are not a fan of coconut these are not the choice for you. Overall these are a pretty basic desert that mostly comes from one of those circular blue tins.
4. Flourless Chocolate Cake
This is a favorite of mine because of its rich chocolate-y flavor. It’s really delicious if you have a rich cake with some whipped cream or cool whip. Honestly this one really depends on who makes the cake, or where you get it from. This could really be a hit or miss.
3. Sliced Fruit Jelly Candies
These are a classic staple for the most part in any household. They are pretty basic, but that doesn’t stop them from being delicious. All the different colors have slightly different flavors making them more fun. In the end these candies are something we all look forward to whether we know it or not.
2. Matzah Pizza
This is ranked number two for two reasons. One, it is very delicious. Depending on the type of cheese, or different toppings like basil and oregano they are exceptional. The one downfall is that by the end of Passover this is all anyone has been eating. Eight days of matzah pizza can make your stomachs summersault.
1. Matzah Toffee
The top of my list: Matzah crack, Matzah toffee, whatever you call it, this stuff is amazing. I think that most of us could survive off of this delicious chocolate and caramel matzah creation. It is such a good post Afikoman dessert, or a little snack during the day. Overall this is my top Passover food!
